Renaissance Adult Day Services Opens New Brooklyn Location to Great Acclaim

Renaissance Adult Day Services BrooklynClose to two hundred guests came to preview the new Renaissance Adult Day Center at 2625 Bedford Avenue, corner of Bedford and Flatbush, on Thursday, December 12. This flagship location is truly an impressive one, featuring an all-new expansive facility with designated areas for hot meals and snacks, social activities, skyping with loved ones abroad, exercise programs, personal care and assistance, and quiet relaxation. Warm and welcoming, the center is beautifully decorated with handpainted murals and well-staffed by a multicultural team of dedicated professional. With door-to-door transportation and handicapped accessible service available – it is truly an environment well-suited to the social needs of neighborhood seniors living at home and their caregivers.

Open House Guests enjoyed an array of activities and entertainment as well as personalized tours of the center. Event highlights included Music by DJ Luko, Raffle Drawings on the hour, Senior Fitness Tips from So Fine Troopers Fitness Training, complimentary Blood Pressure Screening and Pet Therapy. A Gala Ribbon Cutting Ceremony  conducted by Alex Markowits, CEO of Renaissance Adult Day Services, took place in the mid-afternoon with representatives of Senator Kevin Parker and Councilman Eugene Matthew in attendance. Delicious and nutritious hot food, with specially prepared dishes for those with specific dietary restrictions, was sponsored by the newly opened Footprints Café on Flatbush Avenue and YoYo Fritaille Inc. Special thanks to all the vendors who exhibited throughout the day and educated the community about their services: AARP Foundation, Alzheimer’s Association, Al Medina Pharmacy, Ella Dekhtyar & I Freyberg DDS PC, So Fine Troopers Fitness Training and  Church of God.
