At Renaissance, we believe in a holistic approach to wellness.  This includes providing healthy tips for our clients, families, and friends.  Here are some great tips to remember during any time of the year!

5 Tips for Healthy Skin

  1. Drink Water—Start each day with a glass of water before anything else. Drink water with every meal. Water hydrates your skin from the inside out.
  2. Use Lotion—Apply moisturizer 3 times a day to exposed surfaces. Moisturizer is a protective barrier on the outside of your skin.
  3. Put on Your Sun Screen—Whether you realize it or not, the suns UV rays are around all year. Its best to make sunscreen a part of your daily routine.
  4. Gear Up—Use the appropriate outer wear from your head to your toes. This will provide another layer protection to your skin.
  5. Invest in a Humidifier—Dry heat plays havoc on the skin during winter months. Keep your skin hydrated from the outside with the use of a humidifier when possible.
